hi-tech solution for my terribly dusty miter saw, not 100 percent but better than without it ….with dust collector is pretty well…, box is lightweight,it holds only two drywall screw, within seconds it is removed…

Not a bad idea vivid, but I’m kinda concerned about the sock, box, whatever covering the motor. Doesn’t take much for those little guys to over heat.

If it works then it is a good idea.
I assume that is a nylon hose over the motor to keep dust from being drawn into the motor?

Hey it works! Cardboard is a good thing to use for just about anything.

Nice! I used a box for my first miter saw project and will add the plastic sheeting at the front as you did for my next one.

I choked on my coffee a little when I saw the DC fitting attached to a cardboard box, but hey if it works it works.
I have seen Rubbermaid containers put to similar use.
