What how i built this lift here on youtube:

When i got the x-carve one of the first things I thought of was the projects I could use the maker rails for. I have made a few router lifts in the past, but zero movement linear motion has never been achieved. the maker rails are a perfect solution to this problem. although just one rail is probably a little to light duty for a full size router i’m sure you could incorporate two rails to get the extra support. all in all i’m happy with the performance of the lift and it was a really fun project to build
