A storage bench that I made to fit under the window in our home office. The finish is meant to match the black/brown finish found on many products that are sold by a certain Swedish supplier popular for its RTA furniture. It has three openings for file boxes and whatnot. The cushion on top is 3” thick foam upholstered – I ordered it online.

Questions and comments are welcome.

Looks pretty straightforward. My wife hit me up to build one. Did you design it yourself?

Yeah, it is pretty straight forward 3/4” Oak ply and heat activated ply edge-banding. I went with dadoes for added strength. I based the design on other benches that I saw around. I think I did a google image search for inspiration.
