Nothing too fancy here. Just wanted to share a project I made from a old pallet I picked up from work. The pallet had been weather exposed for quite sometime so it had taken on the look of barn wood. I broke it all down and it took a while to figure out what I wanted to make out of it. I came across a set of plans on the internet for this storage shelf for a bathroom. We have a smaller one made out of cheap metal that we use to hold bath towels and decided to replace it with this. The framework itself was made from the pallet and the shelving was made from scrap plywood. Hope you all had a good Father’s Day and thanks for looking.

This shelf looks great. What did you do to finish the edges you cut so they maintained the old weathered look?

Sorry for taking so long to reply..been out a while. I found a link online that called for a apple cider vinegar and steel wool solution. It said to let it set for 48 hrs before using.

Have your say...
