This is a peice of wallpaper that i glued onto a piece of 1/8” plywood and then framed with tree branches i collected while hunting. Its a very easy way to give any picture a rustic touch

I like the simplicity. Clever use of materials. Did you treat the wood with anything? I’ve been wanting to do something with logs/branches for a while now but I don’t know how to treat the wood so it doesn’t rot or peel. Any ideas?

I really like the idea bud! Did you finish it with anything? Looks like my dream place to live. :p

Clever! Nicely done, too. How are the tree branches attached? They look almost like they’re routed and fitted over the edges.

A piece of wallpaper? There is just something too cool (and clever) about that. That would just fit right in on a cabin wall.

-- I just got done cutting three boards and all four of them were too short. (true story)

That’s working on a budget! Looks good. Cool idea.
