This was a quick and easy project I built from an old fence post. I simply flattened one side, beveled the ends around and recessed a couple of hangers into the back. After I was done I hung it outside for about 2 years so the fresh miter cuts could weather a little and blend in with the rest of the post. I just love the texture and character of this old post. You can see what I’m talking about in the last two pictures.
