I created this dog wood floor lamp with fused glass panels I recessed 26 year lifespan LED dimmable I might add lights into The fork of the tree I then fuse clear glass with red and orange pieces of glass randomly in the three panels that you see when the light turned on illuminates the glass panels I believe it looks pretty good myself.
I also want add that I not only fused glass panel I also shape them so that they conform to it the curves in between the forks and then return tree or lamp back in the area where I originally cut the tree.please note that I normally do not cut down trees for my artwork I would rather use already fill material. I also wanted to add that I inlaid a glass and goldleaf and into the natural flaws of the wood as well as adding my own to enhance the look the end result the glass and gold leaf look like quartz rock embedded into the wood with veins of gold. This is my first large project turned out exactly how I envisioned it thanks for looking
