Build a DVD & hard drive case to go along with my computer case.
I was at a yard sale and found a brass post office box door.
Had to polish it up but the lock and all works great.

Not just a pretty case it has function as a DVD and Hot Swap Hard drive. It also has a sound amplifier for my head phones.
May be adding on switches for more than one computer later.

Great looking post office box! Now, if only the ones at the post office looked as nice…......!

This one had many years of hard service but a lot a sanding and buffing got it presentable.
You may have noticed the pictures look different, well to be able to see the brass shine I had to turn off the flash.
With flash wood looks nice with out flash brass looks nice go figure.
Playing with the lock mechanism was a lot a fun trying to get it to use the letters I wanted.
In the end I set it for one letter so it would be easy to open.
Every time you close it, it resets so had to make it easy for my feeble mind. lol
