I feel like I have 500 projects and not enough time
Even when I try to spend 7 days straight in my shop
But know one day I hope I will make head way so
I can start building some stuff for my familey. Anyway I finally got my huvm plastic drilled and t nuts set in it so my nice shooting plane can glide making the perfect joints I have never seen any track built like this attaching the plastic so the screws or mechanical attachment is invisable but maximizes function i/e I will be able to shim under it so I can level my shooting track or taper it I will try to update this project as it gets done. I hope my idea helps others with this simple old shop appliances that makes our work near perfect. All pressed in ready to file flush and drill pilot holes in my shooting board. So close to having a some what operational board I just need to find some glue that will bond the plastic so I can make my shoulder to hold my plane tight in the track. I also have another peice of plastic that I plan on doing the same thing to so I can remove them and have a 4’ long shooting board maximizing my shop appliances and elevating my work. Thanks for the tip on rotating my pics I will have to try to fix what I can.

I know the feeling, so many projects, so little time. Anyway, this is a very useful project for shooting. The low friction plastics material and the canted angle of the LV plane blade will ensure a smooth action.

Good luck with it.
