Custom Light Fixture

Replaced the track lighting in our kitchen with a custom light fixture. Constructed of knotty alder and stained with Minwax Dark Walnut. The lights were purchased from Lowe’s and then rewired to work with the new setup. The part that holds the lights slides into the housing (which is attached to the ceiling) with a dado and is secured in place with a couple screws.

And don’t worry, everything is to code! :)
