This is a hollow form with a natural bark edge opening from spalted sugar maple. The opening is just under an inch in diameter. This hollow form is 6 inches tall and 4 inches across at it’s widest point. Finish is a 50/50 mix of BLO and shellac. I used a home made flap wheel sander to get the inside silky smooth. Folks are always putting their fingers inside to see how smooth it is.

Nice looking bowl. The spalted maple looks fantastic and I like the natural opening. Great job and thanks for sharing
