tow little spalted beach bowls that was fun to turn
the are 7 inches by 3 and a half
finish with 4 coats of sand and seal
then bees wax and polished with brown paper
i got 20 more pieces off this timber
ranging in size from 8 inch by 4 inch
to 13 inch by 6 inch got it from a local farmer
he was cutting down some trees for fire wood
and thought it was to nice to burn so he give
it to me free if i would make him some thing out of it
i jumped at the deal happy days these are just samples
to see how the timber turned it was firm and not rotten
so i will make him a big bowl and 2 lamps for his gift

Those bowls are really beautiful, and so is the timber.
Cannot wait to see what you make from the rest of it.
The spalting is something “SPECIAL” in all timbers, I love it.
Thanks for sharing these.

-- Bob, Western Australia, The Sun came up this morning, what a great start to the day. Now it's up to me to make it even better. I've cut this piece of wood 4 times and it's still too damn short.
