We have recently finished a desk whose design was influenced by the British architect/designer Sir Edwin Lutyens. My client selected a picture from a book she had on his work and we subtracted and editied and added our input to his design … It was a great project and I have posted process descriptions and photos in two entries on my dorset custom furniture blog. I great looking table. I want to make one of his outdoor benches. I’m just trying to come up with the 2X8 cypress wood for it.
