I made this pen using wood from an old hockey stick. The clip on the pen is also a hockey stick. The laminations of wood in the hockey stick really make an interesting looking pen.

Very slick, and a great story for hocky fans. How was the laminated hickory for turning?

The wood from the hockey stick turned real well. Sanded and finished great.

Very nice pen. If you don’t mind me asking, where did you purchase the hockey stick novelty clip? It adds a nice touch.
Thanks,
