My wife had asked me to build her a bird feeder that would simply sit on the rails of our back deck and not be to large that she couldn’t fill it. I was going for the whimsical look which is why I went with the rounded corners and curvy frame plus the light blue color. I drew complete goose eggs when trying to do the top and wimped out with the straight top but hey the wife and kitty loves it abet slightly different reasons.
The wood I used was left over Spanish ceder and a small piece of plexi glass bought at home depot.

Either that feeders on the small side…

Or the cat got the canary a few times.
That’s a big, happy cat.

(I’ve got a big cat too. Upon seeing him step out of the house, my neighbor spilled his beer and asked me “when’d you get the dog?”)

-- make it safe & keep the rubber side down.
