My sister-in-law wanted to buy an over-sized coffee table. But when she saw one she liked, she didn’t want to pay that much. She asked if we would try to make her one that looked similar. So here we are…...

I turned the legs out of white cedar – that was not fun. It splintered and chipped and shredded. But it worked out well because she wanted the ‘distressed’ look.

My husband made the bottom and the top out of some long leaf pine used in a building back in 1918-ish.
It is 5’x4’ by 19” high.

It turned out better than I thought it would. She was going to distress it more. But when she saw it, she said it was too pretty to do anything to. All she has left to do is finish it.

Cant wait to see it in her family room!
