I made this for my brother in-law for Christmas. I used the drunken wood workers temples, a trick from Steve Ramsey to get the images transferred onto the wood< the hardest part was figuring out how to mirroring the images. Then wrapped the handle in leather and added old beer caps on the ends of the handle. It was a lot of fun. Hope you all enjoy.

Very cool. Is it big enough for a real beer drinker?

You could take the divider out and fit a couple growlers in there… that might be enough.

A fantastic gift, no matter how much beer you can fit into it. It’s the thought, the transferred images and your time; obviously shows your closeness with your brother in-law. He is a lucky man.

A very useful gift for years to come.

I like the bottle caps, nice touch. I made some similar ones couple of years ago.

I made some a while back also. I do like the Killian Red bottle cap ends! Adds a neat touch!

I may have to incorporate that idea in my next bunch! Research for the best looking bottle caps will get expensive though!

I’ve seen a few of these on LJs now. In what kind of situation would these get used? I’ve never had an occaision to carry a 6-pack somewhere in a fancy way.

Have your say...
