I really liked how my previous argyle cutting board turned out so I decided to make some drop catch bottle openers. made with curly maple, yellow heart and bubinga (I think). Tree rare earth magnets used to hold up the opener to the surface (CMS Magnetics® N50 Disc Neodymium Magnet Dia 1×1/8” ) and one larger one (CMS Magnetics® N52 Neodymium Magnet Dia 1” X 1/2” NdFeB Rare Earth 6-Count) drilled deeper to catch the caps. I put felt on the back prior to taking photos, next time I will get one of the magnet arrangement. Finished 3 coats of gloss wipe on poly.
