Since we moved into the new house I finally had a room big enough to get a BIG TV. So once I got the 65” monster and I had to build an entertainment center to match. The TV swivals on a big lazy suzan so we can see it from the kitchen. Works out great for the big football games with 20-30 people in the living room and kitchen.

It also has a door that you can see on the second picture that closes if the TV is moved to the straight position. It was a great idea, but the TV is always turned as it points directly at my chair!!

I still need to put the crown molding on the bookcases and finish the glass door on the front…but it has been like this for a year and half. Hopefully I will finish it off this spring.

The whole back of the TV cabinet is open for air circulation and hidding the wires. You can see my wifes village collection on the left bookcase. The wires are hidden and run into the tv cabinet. They can be turned on and off by one remote control.

It is all built out of solid oak and oak plywood.
