Reclaimed end table

Little end table, put a plaster lathe design on the top, bent some lathe to trim the piece. Firstly bending 100 year old dry wood is a bad idea. Steaming it doesn’t help much, but the combination of leaving it in a tub overnight, boiling it in a 100 quart crawfish pot seems to work.

The legs are out of ply. I had some logs from a tree in the front yard that came down, I was initially waiting on them to dry to do this pieces legs out of, but someone got impatient… So they got plywood legs. They also weren’t happy with the colors. The Lime was the color I liked. but it’s now an antiqued white
