This was a case piece project for school. The case is resawn Ash for the quarter/ rift straight grain look, and it is finished with conversion varnish. I love the wide swing doors, and learned a dead on technique for cutting those long mitres. I have it fir sale in the school gallery, fingers crossed.

Beautiful! I don’t think you’ll have any trouble finding this beauty a new home!

Just beautiful! I never considered quartersawing ash but it has a great look and you did a super job of matching/lining up the grain. This project demonstrates some serious woodworking skills. I hope you priced it high!

That is the nicest ash project I’ve ever seen.

Wicked project, ash is one of my favourite woods to work with. The overall look of this project is just stunning. Great job!

Great Craftsmanship and wood selection. Who knew Ash could look so good. Well done!

Wow. Graceful and really nicely proportioned. Hard to imagine it not selling.
