Cradle for Grandson

Before my Grandson was born (and he is the first and only so far) I wanted to do something special for him, so I thought of a cradle, it is built out of cherry and pine, if you closely at the vertical pieces at each end one side has his name Shaune carved in it and the other side has the year of birth 2005.

My guess is generations of little woodworkers to come will sleep in this and dream of all the lumber they will dink around with when they are older. Its a very lovely piece.

An Heirloom for sure very wonderful clean build and outstanding design an finish.
