These were built just prior to the Craftsman QSWO end table, which is also posted here on LJ.

I really like this table. Did you use thinset under the tile? I’m thinking about making something like this as a trial for my tiling skills before i tackle my bathroom remodel!

Slartibarfast, thank you for the compliment! No, the tile rests in a four-sided dado and is only held in place by silicon caulking, in case it would get broken or I wanted to replace it for asthetic reasons.
