I know, I know…and I apologize…more cutting boards. These are my first attempt and I am not unhappy, but I would some things differently if I make any more. For now, I just wanted to see if I could do it ….easy enough…time to move on…did these in about a week in small time blocks between other obligations.
The first pic is just all of them together…the others are in the order I made them.
All are sanded to 320 and then coated in a mixture of 1 part beeswax and 4 parts mineral oil.
They are smooth as glass. No one wants to cut on them.

No need to apologize at all. I think my fave is the one with the bloodwood strip—nice touch. That last one’s pretty crazy. At what angle did you slice the glued-up board? I’ll guess 7 degrees. Good job on the boards.

I too prefer the one with the contrasting bloodwood.

Look Great and if making cutting boards is your liking then so be it…. I agree the one with the Bloodwood is the best just because as with a kitchen things get kinda crazy and will settle down when making a big meal….These make some of the best gifts if you can actually get people to use them….
