Yes I know there have probably been a million pics of Band saw boxes before , but these are the first ones I have ever made so I felt a need to share them with the world! they are both roughly 11 inches long by about 3.5 inches tall. The Bean shaped one is made up of several layers of Pine I found in the scrap bin and faced in a hickory board (at least I think It was Hickory) I found for 49 cents in a off cut bin at Menards. the Spaceship looking one is made of some scrap maple ply and the same hickory board I used on the other one. I finished both of them in a few coats of a oil varnish mix and flocked the insides Black
feel free to comment and critique my work and thanks for looking!

I like the idea of the open bottom design, feels more modern and less traditional and boxey. Thanks for the kind words, was hoping to get a definitive winner as to which one people think looks better but maybe its all subjective.

Nice design and well executed. I have yet to do a BS box, but I really need to try.

Very nice shapes. That is the reason why I like bandsaw boxes – you can’t run out of shapes ideas.
