Based on this project :

I was on a tear one day and did all the cuts and assembly of all three bins in one beautiful day. I added the backs and a coat of stain next day. We then had a cold snap for 6 weeks which stole my ability to lacquer (garage shop, don’t you see). Fast forward to last week and I was finally able to get the last coats of lacquer on. It came inside today and was immediately filled with toys. I consider that a “win”.

- Miniwax Polyshades, is there a worse product than this? Super runny and splotchy, impossible to work with. Nasty. I’m gonna go with Danish oil and poly or lacquer top coat from now on.
- SPAX screws are the only screw worth owning.

What a great idea for a toy box…no damaged fingers from a falling lid…and the toy they want it right there. Thanks for sharing
