I cut the pieces to the correct lengths for the sides of the box. I used the dovetail joints on the ends I each board. Then, I made all of the pieces to the lid. I used our laser engraver and put the logo and the name on the lid. Next, I routed my pieces for the lid and glued them together. I used golden oak stain and three coats of poly. This is all mainly made of oak wood.

Very nice box JLay. You could us a little more light in the pictures, and maybe some closeups of the details, but i like it. Hope your dad likes it too
