Here are 2 vanity boxes made from some Red Oak firewood. It did not make the FIRE! It was the first time doing box joints with my Incra original positioner. It has been used just as a basic router fence, not utilizing its full potential. It really worked well. I will be doing more challenging joints in future projects.
I finished them with 3 coats of WB Poly. They measure 8”X12”X4” Tall. I cut 1/4” spacing. I used my French curves to lay out the bottom cut outs. I also used the positioner to cut the groove to accept the bottom. Everything referenced perfectly with one set up. The only adjustment was the bit height for the bottom groove.
The old plastic boxes have seen better days.
