I am sure most of us have used the simple stick method to lock a sliding patio door to prevent it from being opened from the outside.

This is essentially an upgraded stick for this purpose.

Its made of Bubinga with a Purple Heart inlay. There is a notch in one end to allow the Stop to nest over the screw on the bottom corner of my patio door. There is also a grove that runs the length of the bottom to allow the stop to sit over the door wheel track that the patio door roles on.

Finished with multiple coats of clear shellac.

Awesome! That has to be the fanciest patio door stick ever! :-)
Great job!

Won’t have to look twice to see it! Good security measure.
