My mother-in-law asked if I could make her a Nativity Scene, 3 Panel backdrop for her Nativity statues. She was looking for something church like. I designed this project to appear like 3 church windows. The front side window frames are Mahogany stained dark and they are epoxy glued to Poplar wood back panels that have been painted blue to represent the sky. A large white star is featured on the front. On the back I laser engraved shepherds, 3 kings, a manger and angels above near the Star of David. To make storage of the panels easy when not in use, I designed wooden hook like clips that hook together to hold the panels up. I shipped it to her on Tuesday and by Thursday she had it and was amazed. I know she’ll treasure it for many years to come and family and Christmas visitors will enjoy it too.
