Bedside table. Design is something that my 13 year old wanted – a place to put his night time water, a drawer to put his headphones in, and a bottom shelf for his latest lego creation.
For the drawer construction i thought i would use dowels insead of dovetails and it created a decent effect.
Made out of Baltic Birch and stained with General Finishes Java as this is just a placekeeper until i get a planer and can build him something out of hardwood.
As always – learn something new each time i build something and there are things i will do diferently next time.
On to my next project.

Looks great! My next project is a pair of night stands. The darker stain looks really nice.
