I am very grateful to have Yoga in my life. For the past 6 years I have been doing Iyengar Yoga and it has made a big difference in my health and my craft. So when I was asked by Alberta Yoga College if I could make backbenders, I jumped at the opportunity. Last week I got to work and started the build. Here are some pics of how it went.
Wow! The woodshop smelled fantastic with the milling of the cedar.
My Akeda jig has full dust collection as it is run thru a switch and to my shop vac street cone cyclone. Made all the pins with ease. However I had to make a jig to cut the tails on the curves.
I delivered them and installed a wall rack for storage in the studio.
Branding day is always fun. Thanks for sharing your projects my woodworking friends as I enjoy reading and seeing what you are all building in the woodshops around the world.
Cheers and Namaste

Love that last picture of you branding.

I’ve been thinking about getting into some yoga to help my back out. These look like they would be a big help. How tall are these at their highest point and how long are they?
Have your say...
