This is the latest version of my pallet wood cooler. I tried to keep enough of the contours of the original pallet components so that there would be no mistake… it’s made from recycled pallets. Trying to get the joints snug is a challenge when each piece of pallet wood seems to have a mind of it’s own. I started wood working about two years ago after I retired so I’m obtaining equipment as I go. I now have a thickness planer so at least I can flatten out one side of the wood. That helped considerably.

I have been re-cyling lumber for few years and building things…...so I am excited when I see someone else using re-purposed materials. I really like the job you did with this “kooler” !
Did you buy the cooler for the inside or re-purpose one you found ?

Thanks for the comments guys. The coolers are new, but I do try and use recycled hardware. I have been going to estate sales and find hardware and most of my woodworking equipment but at least in GA it looks as if we use coolers until all the goodies used up.
