This is a canoe mirror frame I made using maple. The customer bought a home in Oregon that had the mirror on the wall and they liked it. The previous homeowner took it with them and luckily they were smart enough to snap a few pictures before it was gone. So I built this based off of photos and rough diminsions. Turns out that I somehow flipped the height and the width. They took it to Oregon and it didn’t fit! Round two was just right. Now they have 2 mirrors. LOL. Sorry I didn’t have the mirror cut and installed in the frame in these pictures. The canoe is carved into shape and the stitches are burned in. It’s supposed to be a leather (hide) canoe like what the Indians would have used.

Very nice looking frame. I agree, it would look good in a log home or cottage.
