So after Christmas i got a few new tools. My wife asked me to make another one of these for her friends birthday. I think it is a lot nicer than the first one. It is Made from walnut and bird’s eye maple. Didn’t have a bottle to try it out with. Again, sorry for the crappy pic. Done with my phone again. I Have to start taking pictures with my real camera before I give things away!!

That’s freakin’ crazy. You got some math for us so we can figure out how to do this?

i really like how you bookmatched the walnut, it draws the eye toward the bottle opening. very nice.

Thanks. I wish i could say i bookmatched the walnut but it just kinda happened that way. i put the grain running in like that so it looked bookmatched but it really isn’t. Here is a link for the plans i used… http://www.timelesstreasuretrunk.com/Woodworking/projects.html#wineholder
