Love the curly maple and you did an excellent job making it. Sure the little guy will call it a heirloom one day.
According to the grin on his face you’ve probably got many more project so do for hm, and don’t forget to let him help you in the shop.

Nice work and great selection of lumber. I still have one about 30 years old from my kids and about to give it to our grandchild.
