Interesting novelty but it still doesn’t make any more sense to me than wearing a real tie…I wore one for 30+ years…never again.

My Mom bought one of these for Christmas a couple years back. I actually enjoy wearing it (as much as anyone can enjoy wearing a tie every day, at least). Anyway try using an elastic cord instead of a shoelace. It’ll keep your segments tight w/o requiring you knot/unknot it every time you wear it.

Hi Garbonsai, my first try contains an elastic. But I only found a flat one and it was more difficult to insert it in a drilled hole.

Your tie drew me in then I looked at your “real” work… The Scooter… The dining table …. and the nesting tables …!

Now THAT is a tie that I would not mind wearing! I wear a tie fairly often at work. This one would (wood) have much more conversation than those drab things I normally wear. Very cool. Thanks for sharing.

I would definitely wear a wooden bow tie!
