Borrowing heavily from the Greene’s—and maybe Darrell Peart, I came up with a design for a writing desk to be made from mahogany. The bottom section is pretty much pure G & G, but the top half leans towards the Stickley style, so I added the cloudlift back to tie it together.
My wife wanted a ‘true brown’ without any of the red that’s typical of mahogany. I think I did a pretty good job of that here. The wooden drawer pulls were my idea, and I like the way they turned out. General Finishes Arm-R-Seal satin finish completed the project.

Very nicely done. I like it. I’ll have to save it for later.

Nice desk. I like the drawer front, rather than making a typical router pattern
you made a nice decoration. Color looks very sturdy too.

Excellent display of design and craftsmanship. The desk came out great, and I really like the details.

Looks great, and I agree about the color- warm and comfortable, not flashy.

what a super desk. I think you did a great job on the design and the top 1/2 seems to go well with the bottom. The color is very warm & pleasing. If I may IMHO say what makes my design eye twitch, it is the 2 back posts in the corners..where they go above the top. My eye says they should be even with the back so the cloud lift shape is continuous. Love the desk front/cloud lift. Super piece!

This is absolutely remarkable. Beautiful in every detail. The kind of project that tells me I still have a lot to learn. Superior job!
