My latest project was a fun one. It’s a Steampunk pen. What the heck is Steampunk you ask … well Steampunk is a genre of science fiction that typically features steam-powered machinery rather than advanced technology but taking place in the modern era. This is what a modern ball point pen might look like using 1800’s technology. There is no plastic here it’s all brass, copper and steel and all the tiny screws are real. The wood is Chechen which I’ve never worked with before. It turned nicely and polished beautifully. It’s a heavy pen!

Holy crap, that’s amazing. Did you fashion all those little bitty pieces? Adapt them from something else? Wow

Jules Verne called, he wants his pen back.
Kidding aside, that is really cool!
I love the details. Nice work!

Awesome! It has a bit of a bolt-action and bullet look to it, too. I love it. Where did you source the parts? Was it a kit or total invention of the mind?

Have your say...
