As some of you know from this thread on LJs I have a new job and I am trying to encourage the users of the machine shop to wear eye and ear protection. Anyway, to make it as easy as possible to pick up these items, I have made 2 of these racks, one for each side of the shop.
It is simply some 68mm waste pipe cut at a 30degree angle for the spec holders, screwed to an 18mm MDF back.
Just need to order up to date signage now, and get the lecturers to enforce it!
Comments always welcome,
Garry

Excellent idea. You know, if it’s not convenient or required, it won’t happen.

That should do the trick. Just need to smack the ones that don’t use them , they will learn.

That’s a great idea. I’ll adopt it for my shop and maybe for the shop at the university where I work.
Thanks for such a simple idea.
