This is a shop project i built last year. The chalk or black board panel was purchased at Home Depo, and the frame is made of Quartersawn Red Oak. The overall dimentions are 4’x2’. For the frame finish, I used some left over dark gel stain I had left over from when I made two night stands. After the stain dried, I applied a few coats of wipe-on poly.

So did you make the templates and mill the legs yet? (just kidding)

Good usable project.
