only one pic of this as I forgot to take any at the shop which will be a pain later because my customer wants a second cabinet to match and I built this on the fly. It’s a stepback dvd storage rack made of 1/2 birch, framed with pine strips cut from two 2×4s. The corners are trimmed with two strips per corner and are fitted to just barely conceal the edge of the plywood which really made it look interesting. The side pieces are 8” deep, 48” tall, fixed shelves sized for dvd cases. The center is 24×12x60” with three movable shelves. The tops are 3/4 ” birch, sealed with a mixture of shellac and denatured alcohol then stained with a light oak gell. The case and shelves are painted with almond high gloss enamel. There is hidden storage as well.

very nice. I too have made projects “on the fly” and had a second order. Tough but digging through notes helps. Good job!
