I found this cool little project on lumberjacks, made by UncannyValleyWoods. It was pretty fun to make the 3-way lap joint, making sure to keep everything tight.

That’s a cool little stool. Looks well done. I like it. The title of your project certainly caught my attention. I thought of trying a three way lap joint for the hexagon shaped tables that I build. I eventually rejected the idea because four legs are more stable than three. I choose a pedestal design with two legs making a lap joint with shoulders narrowed where it crossed the center pedestal. Thanks for the unassembled pictures.
