Another commission this time a live edge coffee table with hairpin legs. The catch was the customer wanted an oval shaped top with end grain. I eventually found a company that sold oval slabs and the customer picked this slab. Unfortunately it looked way better in the photo and when I opened the box I found out that it was half rotten and the darker ring was falling off. To fix that I used $80 worth of epoxy resin to fix all the punky spots and then poured more resin on top and polished it out for a mirror. The legs were made in a buddy’s shop

Great look to that table top. All the moreso considering what you had to do with how it started off. Thanks for sharing!
