Since my Wife is a professional Firefighter I just had to do this one :)
Thinking about adding more to it on the right side. May be a little scene, like a burning housewall or something like that.
Firefighter Intarsia
Wood used : obeche, ebony, hornbeam, walnut, elm, wenge, bubinga and padouk.
Edit 2015 / 4 march : added another picture. Played a bit around and like it a better like that.
what do you think ? :)

Thanks Dayne, just give it a try. I would say it’s not as hard as it appears.

Nice job was this off a pattern? Would like to try this for a retired firefighter friend.
