These two chairs I built on my deck with just some basic tools and scrap rough 2×4 from work. Pretty good for two days of work with no shop. I am working on a much more professional model now that I have a shop to borrow.
Jan 1 2016 Update: the picture of the single chair is my second attempt at these chairs and it worked much better as I have a drill press and a larger router to work with.
I also used flush bolts with lock tight and cut the threads myself. Worked 100x easier than the threaded rod I used the first time.
I’m really happy with how this latest one turned out. only thing I might change in the future is making the back a bit taller to rest your head better.

Those look really nice and very comfortable. Any way you could share a bit of the details, assembly, etc. I would like to build a couple for my place as well. Thanks for sharing
