This assembly table is just short of 4×8. There are a total of 8 cabinet doors. This was my first big shop furniture project. I’m happy with the results so far. I did not go the torsion top route. All the sides, middle section, cabinet sides, are all dadoed, glued, and screwed. The horizontal and vertical dadoes seem to lock together well, I have no worries of the table sagging out of level. I also have 6 heavy duty levelers underneath to help. I really enjoyed learning how to make the panel doors with the grooves and stub tennons. I’m already working on a similar but smaller project that will become an out feed table for the new saw stop. Thanks for checking it out!

Now you need some butcher paper to keep the top looking nice. Well done. That’s a great addition to your shop.

Stellar job on the assembly table…It looks really nice….It’s always fun to build a shop project….Shop furniture and shop projects, like jigs, fixtures, and work benches are my favorite things to build…I build furniture and other stuff for a few customers, but that’s working for them…...If I can make a few sheklels doing that, then I can buy more wood and tools…...
