Mr & Mrs letters

These letters were done for a girl when growing up she was either at our house or our daughter was at her house. So she is kindof like an adopted part of the family. She got married in Dec. and wanted me to make these for her book signing table and for the top of the cake. So she picked the font and we went to work on what exactly she wanted. The Walnut Mr and Mrs sat at the book signing table above the book. The letters are about 4” high and 3/4” thick.

The other one was done with Baltic Birch and I didn’t get a picture of it before it was decorated but, it has a spike at the bottom and it was pushed in the cake so the Mr & Mrs sat on top. There are some pictures of it in the cake. She painted it purple and has some texture on it as well.

Ditto what Sheia said above. I’ll add this: What a gr8 idea Kelly! I’m sure all who attended had all good things to say about it. Very nicely done, and from the heart. :)

Very nice job on those letters, Kelly. Do you have a video or pics on how you do it? Like do you just keep cutting from one end or do you rough them out first?

Thanks, Jim
