Very special shadowbox made for the family of a Marine that was killed in action. Some of us unfortunately pay for freedom. The shadowbox was made out of cherry with walnut splines. This was my first time making the splines and I think it came out pretty good. It is amazing the difference a few days in the California sun makes on the color of the project.

The dovetail splines are really nice. And surprizingly easy. Very nice of you to make it for the family.
