This was my second project I completed back in October 2014. It is made from cherry and bubinga. It was inspired by Jacques Breau’s coffee table that was featured in FWW #242 and by the written plans given to me by my girlfriend as seen in the photo. Jacques coffee table featured a floating top which I really liked so I added that to this plant stands design.

Very nice, I like the edge treatment on the top. Is that top plywood or solid? Either way, cherry is the best wood for furniture – in my humble opinion. Beautiful table.
